A triumph of a fabric from St.Judes by artist Emily Sutton arrived today just as a delivery of “Ink” Irish Linen appeared. The pair are perfect bedfellows. Emily’s design clearly has its roots in illustration but what a fabulous design for roman or roller blinds in a study or child’s bedroom? A really refreshing addition to Tinsmiths’ printed textiles which would look so good with this inky irish linen – backing cushions or perhaps curtains across the roman or roller blind in Emily’s fabric. Look out for it “in the flesh” as a sample curtain in the showroom at New Year (2011)
