Eight hundred invitations for our next exhibition “Tinsmiths’ Printmakers 2011” have just rolled off the press. We selected “The Liverton Fox” from work by printmaker John Richardson and set about making three engravings from a digital image of the print. Separating the image into three was a bit of a challenge – as was choosing the colours that each plate would be inked with; we are truly thrilled with the result and are very grateful (AGAIN) to Martin Clark at Tilley’s our very local letterpress printer. The exhibition opening will be on the evening of 15th April and the show goes on until 14th May.
