If you are thinking of a trip to Ledbury, think rail. Our independent “Station Master”, John Goldrick gives a really first rate service from his booking shed (and via his website) on the station platform.
John has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the rail network and can always be relied upon to turn up on time! When he took over the lease of Ledbury Station in 1989 he aimed to establish the same jovial camaraderie that one would hope to find in a good local pub. Twenty years on and the tracks haven’t changed his mind and John is now a firmly established local treasure.
So, take a ride! There are direct trains to and from London Paddington, across the Cotswolds, and to Birmingham New Street. Why not visit Tinsmiths by rail, we are just a ten minute walk from the Station?
