We may yet be in for some more chilly weather but walking along the Loden near my home at the weekend there were definitely signs of Spring. So, as I had my little camera in my pocket, I thought a splash of these on the blog might be uplifting. The Winter Aconites are actually in our garden – a whole carpet of them – which has developed over the years from a single plant by casual sprinkling of the resulting seeds each season.
